Spare parts are a vital part of any system. In fire protection installation there may be several manufacturers of equipment who do not always keep in stock a strategic spare parts list for trouble free operation. In certain industries the fire system plays a fundamental role because they are interconnected with the process they are protecting and therefore a possible fault implies a loss of production or a unsustainable risk. When used during preventive maintenance or repair the spare part is automatically reordered. Records are also kept on system technology aging and spare part availability of the product being replaced in order to schedule the substitution.
